Fig & Prosciutto Naan Flatbread
Gettin' figgy with it.
Oh yes, I went there. But honestly, you need this glorious flatbread in your life NOW. It's the perfect combo of sweet and salty. The arugula adds freshness and a peppery bite that makes this pizza next level.
Picture with me summer + outdoor patio + rosé + apps and girlfriends + FIG FLATBREAD. I mean what else could be dreamier, am I right?
This is the perfect appetizer to bring to supper club or even as a quick and delicious lunch for one.
Ingredients (for one serving):
1 Naan flatbread (you could do this with normal pizza dough if you want)
2-3 tbs of fig spread
3-4 slices of prosciutto (it's best when you get this from the meat counter at the deli)
1/4 cup blue cheese, gorgonzola cheese, or goat cheese (I used blue cheese but I am confident all would work perfectly - more or less - eyeball this depending on size of naan)
1 sliced pear
Handful of fresh arugula
1. Place everything on the flatbread except for the fresh arugula
2. Cook this at 400 degrees for 15-18 minutes (when prosciutto is crisp and cheese melty)
3. Take out of the oven and top with the arugula
4. Slice up and ENJOY!
